Spend a Couples Break in the New Forest this Summer

The summer holidays are upon us, but that doesn't just mean family holidays!  Here at New Forest Cottages we invite all couples to come and experience a relaxing, romantic retreat in this beautiful and historic area.

The New Forest has National Park status and its atmosphere and traditions date back over 900 years. With its vast tracks of unspoilt heath and woodland, which are home to countless varieties of wildlife and native plants.  It is the perfect location for those who desire peace and tranquillity or for the more energetic, looking for an exhilarating break!

So what can we offer you?  How about a 3 or 4 night short break at one of our romantic, bijou properties in the heart of the New Forest.

The Studio (A712) is a spacious, first floor apartment ideal for a couple wanting a holiday in this beautiful part of the New Forest.  It has its own private corner of the garden to relax in and with direct forest access you can step straight out of the front door and into the forest, where you can explore extensive walks and cycle rides.  And to end your day, The Moorhill House Hotel is only a few minutes’ walk away…  enjoy a meal and a drink or two and then stroll back to the apartment!

The Water Tower (A164) is a most unusual and attractive holiday retreat which has been created within the old Water Tower.  Sleeping 2 people this attractive apartment offers views over the Ladycross Estate and the surrounding forest.  Guests have extensive use of the grounds, including the lake, where deer can sometimes be seen.  The village of Brockenhurst is only 3 miles away where you will find pubs, shops and restaurants.

Little Broom (A127) is a charming and well-appointed bungalow which stands in the corner of the owner’s spacious garden.  Miles of open forest lie outside the front gate, excellent for walking, cycling and horse riding.  There are two good country pubs within a short distance.  And for the golfing couples a 9-hole golf course is only ‘FORE’ miles away….!

Oakley at Oaklands (A910) is a delightful, newly refurbished, garden apartment, which has a commanding position with far reaching views to the south over the hay meadow and the New Forest beyond.  The location of this property is ideal for walkers, photographers, cyclist, horse riders and golfers.  There are several good pubs and restaurants locally and in the surrounding villages.
