Visit the New Forest this Easter Weekend


Easter is finally here and the good old British weather is deciding to behave itself for a change! Surely it’s the perfect excuse to pack the bags and head to the New Forest for a last minute short break. Below are a couple of our comfortable holiday cottages still available this Easter weekend.

The Old Sunday School – Sleeps 2
This charming one bedroom spacious cottage is the perfect couples retreat and just a 15 minute walk to Lymington High Street.

Angel Valley Cottage – Sleeps 8
This large family house is perfect for a last minute get together with friends or family.

A Date with Nature – Free Entry
Friday 18th – Monday 21st April
Visit the New Forest Reptile Centre this Easter weekend. Staff and volunteers are on hand to answer any questions on the many varieties of reptiles and amphibians in the New Forest. Don’t forget to view the many nest cams currently set up in the treetops capturing the New Forest’s birds of prey.  Finish your visit with a walk through the New Forest right from the car park.


Easter at Exbury – Children under 16 free of charge
Friday 18th – Monday 21st April
Easter is a wonderful time at Exbury, and there will be primroses, magnolias, evergreen azaleas and early rhododendrons all in flower. Alongside the beautiful gardens and steam railway (small charge per person) there is a fun trail and colouring for the children. 

Spring into Lymington – Free Entry
Sunday 20th April 11am-4pm
Visit this colourful, relaxed vintage town fete this Sunday with oodles of fun across the day including puppet theatre, egg and spoon race, food stalls, real ale and a Spring Market. There will also be live bands and other music playing throughout the day.

Fun at the Farm at Longdown – Reduced child entry (£4.50) for children wearing an Easter Bonnet.
Friday 18th – Monday 21st April

What better place to celebrate Easter than at the Farm surrounded by chicks, lambs and Easter bunnies? Join in the fun at Longdown this Easter with trails, Easter Egg hunts and not forgetting the regular scheduled feeds for the goats, calves, pigs and ducks! A great day out for all the family.
